This is our second week of spelling and our third week of vocabulary. Students should have taken a math worksheet home yesterday, Tuesday, 8-17 to finish. Our math chapter is difficult for many students, so homework this week will be a daily review of what we learned in class. Students will be given a two-sided worksheet. We will complete one side in class, and the other will be assigned as homework to review what we have learned. If you could, it would be wonderful if you review with your student to be sure that he/she understands the concepts.
Just in case, here are the vocabulary words for the week.
armor -body covering, often of metal, worn for protection in battle
comrades - companions who share one's activities
endured - put up with or lasted through
farewell - goodbye
triumphant - successful
troops - soldiers
victorious - having won by defeating another
Have a great week!
