A homework packet should come home on Monday. Students need to study vocabulary words, spelling words, and complete the comprehension packet (including the last question, which is a writing activity). Students should also be finishing math homework nightly. We will not have math homework on Thursday because we will be having our addition chapter test. Last, students should be studying Rocket Math a few minutes each night.

ancestors - people one's family comes from
elders - people who are older and often wise, respected leaders in a group
honor - to show special respect
imitating - copying what someone does
respect - admiration or consideration
Blue Spelling: own, row, die, mind, high, tie, mild, fry, try, fight
Yellow Spelling: blow, show, child, bright, might, wild, pie, cry, light, mind
Red: thrown, tomorrow, though, delight, fright, slightly, untie, fly, lights, design
