Egg Drop Details

Egg Drop Details

Here are the details for the Egg Drop on Wednesday, April 4th.

The third grade teachers need your help. We want to know, is there a way to throw an egg off of the school and not have it break?

RULES:

Students that would like to participate need to use the knowledge that they have gained about force, motion, and gravity to create a container that they think will keep an egg safe when thrown off of the roof of the school.

-      Put an egg inside the container. The egg cannot be hardboiled.
-      Container needs to be able to be easily opened after it is thrown off the roof so we can check the results.
-      Any materials may be used to make your container other than glass. Please remember that the roof is pretty far off the ground so we don’t want anything that will shatter into pieces when it hits the concrete.
-      Name needs to be on container.
