Homework May 6

Spelling:

red: rocket, unit, private, curtain, prison, eleven, limit, cabin, secret, chosen
yellow: racket, edit, pirate, mountain, cotton, mitten, orbit, captain, magnet, napkin
blue: jacket, credit, senate, fountain, gallon, heaven, summit, penguin, climate, bargain

Vocab:

bustling - full of activity, busy
custom - a tradition; a way of doing something that many people follow
foreigners - people who came from another country or place
passport - a governmental document that allows a person to travel in foreign countries
sightseeing - visiting interesting places; touring
skyscrapers - very tall buildings
vendor - someone who sells something

 There will be no math homework this week because we will be overloading math to review in class for the year-end test. Instead, students will be checking out a book from the library and completing a travel brochure. If you have any questions, please ask me or Miss Gaitan.

NOTE -- We are changing the day of our play. We will be doing it after we come back on track. It will now be Thursday, June 27  at 9:30 and again at 10:30.
