I was planning to have spelling and vocabulary this week, but with the play and the field trip, we just don't have the class-time needed to make the week effective. So --- we won't have spelling and vocab. this week. As a quick reminder, biography books need to be in class tomorrow (Tuesday) for students to begin reading. We will read in class and unless they don't finish during class time, they won't need to read the biography at home. We will begin working on the report in class next Monday.
Reminder for the field trip: make sure students wear super comfortable shoes. They will be walking about two miles. Also, please send their lunches and drinks in a disposable sack. Students will also need a water bottle (disposable) to drink from during the hike. Also, you might want to send your student with a small snack to eat after we get back to school, as we are eating lunch SUPER early and students will be hungry.
